HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
The average person should expect 3 months out of their wrinkle relaxer treatment. Movement can start to return around the 6-8 weeks mark with full pre-treatment movement returned by week 12.
Treatment of the masseter muscles or for excessive sweating can be expected to last up to 6 months Longevity be subject to on the type of wrinkle relaxer used, number of units used, specific muscle injected, compliance with aftercare and individual factors such as metabolism. In order to obtain the best results, maintenance treatments are required.
HOW LONG BEFORE THE MUSCLE RELAXANTS START TO WORK?
You will start to notice the results of your treatment within the first 3-14 days, with the end result visible by day 14, depending on the product used. Masseter (teeth grinding) and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) treatments may take up to 4 weeks to take full effect.
A follow-up appointment may be needed in order to achieve the best outcome as this allows our nurses to optimise dosage and placement. Once this is achieved, this can be replicated in the treatments that follow.
